A day porter is a dedicated janitorial staff member who works during your facility's operating hours — not after hours. The role exists for buildings where nightly cleaning is not sufficient on its own: high-traffic lobbies that need constant attention, multi-tenant properties where restrooms serve dozens of suites, or facilities with continuous public throughput that cannot wait until closing time to be addressed.

Day porter service makes sense when your building has restrooms that serve more people than a nightly clean can sustain. A single-tenant office with 20 employees and two restrooms probably does not need it. A multi-tenant building with six suites sharing two restroom banks, or a distribution center break room handling three shift changes, almost certainly does.
